It is impractical to keep our Koi at maximum ‘Oxygen Saturation’ level. There is also the danger to consider of ‘Gas Bubble’ disease. However, in 248 ponds which we have visited to date, we have never encountered a case of GB disease. Most Koi Keepers seem to run their ponds with INSUFFICIENT OXYGEN – Gerry’s pet mantra is ‘More Oxygen’!
